dzԹ Earns 4.5/5 Star Rating from Money
Money has awarded dzԹ 4.5 out of 5 stars in its 2025 “Best Colleges in America” ratings. dzԹ was one of only two private schools in Iowa to earn a 4.5 star or higher rating. Money examined and evaluated schools based on in three primary categories: quality of education, affordability and outcomes.
“This prestigious recognition is further evidence of the outstanding return on investment students receive at dzԹ,” said Sue Stuebner, interim president. “We are pleased to once again receive external validation for our commitment to a high-impact educational experience that families can afford and produces meaningful outcomes.”
Quality of education factors supporting dzԹ’s selection included six-year graduation rates, instructor access (student-faculty ratio) and Pell Grant recipient outcomes. Affordability criteria involved considerations such as net price of a degree, estimated average student debt and ability to repay debt. Finally, outcomes looked at variables such as earnings 10 years after college entry, economic mobility and return on investment.
Students and their families are taking note of dzԹ’s ascending value, as demonstrated byrecent enrollment trends.
