The 海角吃瓜网 Speech & Debate team earned national runner-up status in a trio of categories at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament held March 19-22 in Springfield, Mo. 海角吃瓜网 claimed second place in Debate Sweepstakes, Individual Events Sweepstakes and Overall Sweepstakes. In each instance, 海角吃瓜网 finished just 10 or fewer points behind the national champion.

Our second-place finish is a testament to our students鈥� skill and dedication to the activity, but these results come from countless hours of preparation and discipline throughout the entire season, not just a single week of competition. Boise State University won both the overall and individual sweepstakes, with the University of California-San Diego taking home the top prize in debate. The tournament featured 58 colleges and universities with 438 students competing in more than 2,200 individual events.听
